Medical Waste Sterilizers are typically larger in dimension than Surgical Sterilizers and are built to handle and process high volumes with fast turnaround. Material loading and handling is very important to waste handling facilities. Quite often product is loaded into stainless bins/hoppers made of mesh or perforated metal to allow maximum steam penetration into the load. Anchor Medical Waste Sterilizers are built to ASME standards and designed to operate for years with minimal maintenance. External mineral wool insulation is preferred and we typically clad or jacket the insulation with a corrugated liner, either stainless or aluminum. All included safety measures satisfy code requirements for interlocking the closure and a few extra give the operator peace of mind.
